The 14th Fachtagung of the Indogermanische Gesellschaft was held in Copenhagen from Monday 17 to Saturday 22 September 2012, and was be hosted by Roots of Europe at the University of Copenhagen.

The conference was dedicated to the theme of Etymology and the European Lexicon, focusing on issues of general relevance to Indo-European studies, rather than dealing with isolated problems within individual branches.
